Job Purpose

Would you like to work with a strong brand and become a key member of one of the region’s biggest Internet of Things (IoT) innovation teams?

As a Quality Test Engineer you will be a key member of the Quality Assurance team, ensuring we deliver and monitor premium quality for new and existing products, which help millions of people in their everyday lives. You will work closely with the R&D, Product Management, Analytics & Insight and Technical Support teams to define, develop, execute and document a wide range of repeatable tests.  You will also lead identification of fault root causes, if and when they occur.

This is full-time role, based in Malmö, reporting to the Quality Assurance Officer.  Occasionally, you may need to travel to Linköping or other Verisure sites in Europe.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, execute and document a wide range of repeatable tests, to assure premium functionality and performance of new products. This includes bench-marking and calibrating new product performance against previous versions and competitor products

  • Manage external test partners

  • With support from our Analytics & Insight team and expert Quality Engineers, monitor and analyze installed product quality, including root cause analysis, from new product introduction and through-out the full product life cycle.

Required Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

  • University degree, preferably within software or electronics

  • Curious and creative tester with experience of consumer electronic products

  • Fluency in English
